UNDERWATER CAMERA LENS from Blueye Video

The BlueyeCam is a one of a kind product. It is so quick and easy to use you will change the way you think about using underwater video!

The BlueyeCam was invented by a swim coach to teach his swimming students the correct techniques for swimming. The BlueyeCam can be adapted to be used in so many ways

The steps to set up your camera and start your video are quick and easy.

You will only need two pieces of equipment (video camera and the Blueye adaptor) and 4 easy steps to set up.

1. BlueyeCam

2. Compatible Camcorder that is capable of accepting an analog input. Here is a PDF list of compatible camcorders.

First step, you load your video camera with tape and attach to the camera mount that comes with the BlueyeCam.

Second step, you attach the camera to the BlueyeCam.

Third step, Take you audio and video cables (that come with your camcorder) and plug your RCA video cable (yellow) into the junction box on the BlueyeCam and the other yellow cable into your camcorders analog input slot. What this does is take a digital video signal from the camera to the junction box. The junction box converts the digital signal to an analog signal that relays it to your camcorder.

Fourth step, your camcorder will now function as a monitor for the BlueyeCam. Now you set the camcorder to the play, VCR or TVR mode. You will be using your camcorder as a mini-VCR to record an incoming signal through the cable. Your camcorder will have instructions to this in it’s manual in a section about recording from a VCR or TVR to your camcorder.

Attention owners of Canon and JVC camcorders!

Most Canon and JVC camcorders that allow analog video input require you to change a setting in the VCR setup menu. It is usually denoted as AV/DV out with an ON/Off setting. Turn this to “On”.

Now just push the red button on the junction box and the camera is ready to go. Adjust the pole extension (options from 3' -20'). Hit record, you can now start to video the underwater world.

That's it - in less than two minutes you ready to go.
